Aaron and I are very busy individuals with two young kids. When we have free time, we like to spend it working on projects around our house, drumming up new recipes for supper, gardening indoors and outdoors, working on outdoor projects, and a multitude of other time-consuming hobbies. One thing that we don't do in our free time is design webpages. (Sorry!) Book Reviews: Jen spends an inordinate amount of time reading. Really, it's quite excessive. When she finds something she really likes, or just when it strikes her fancy, she talks about the latest book on her nightstand (okay, that's a lie - it's really on her floor).
Gardening: Do Jen's obsessions ever end? A firm believer in not only living in a beautiful environment, but also in growing her own food out of her small backyard, Jen believes that gardening is and should be a corner stone of a person's life. In the past it has been said that Jen has a black thumb. Can she change that with education and lots of trial and error?

Recipes and Cooking: Jen loves to cook and claims it is the one part of the day where she completely relaxes (during most recipes). Who can't love chopping vegetables into tiny eeeeitty-bitty pieces? It is permitted wanton destruction! This category can also contain stories about things that happen while cooking or projects that help the cooking process.
Thankful Thursdays: One of the few memes that Jen likes, Thankful Thursdays was started by Julie at Another Chance Ranch. Who can't get into giving thanks once a week?
